In 2019, my wife and I found out we were going to have our first child. She arrived healthy and full of life in September. During that same time frame, my doctors who had treated me for anemia were also keeping an eye on a shrinking white blood cell count. A week after our daughter was born, I was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive form of lymphoma. To say the least, just one of these events is enough to keep a family busy and focused, but we find ourselves dealing with two very challenging circumstances and all the complications that arise from each.
I’m writing this blog to help me process through the ups and downs of life as we enjoy our daughter and work through chemo and various treatments. We covet your prayers and support while our family faces the unknown on many fronts.
